Where
Headlands Center for the Arts

Open House provides a once-a-season opportunity to roam the various buildings of our campus, meet current artists, view works in progress, and attend screenings, performances, and readings. See what Artists in Residence and Graduate Fellows are up to in their studios, stop by the Project Space installation by Jeff McMillan, and enjoy a housemade lunch from the Mess Hall.

Are you a member? Join us for a Members Hour during Open House from 12–1PM, and a special studio visit just for members with a current artist in residence. Space is limited for Members Hour. If you are interested in attending, RSVP to Juliana Gerdts. Each member is limited to two tickets.

Parking is limited. If you can, we encourage you to carpool or bike. Get more info on transportation and directions.

Headlands assesses Covid safety protocol on an ongoing basis and may require mask wearing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be available on site. First-floor spaces in use for this event (Mess Hall, Key Room, Latrine, The Commons, first-floor studios) are accessible to people with mobility aids. Second- and third-floor spaces (including Project Space) are currently accessible only by stairs.
