Supper at Headlands | July 2026
Suppers at Headlands offer a unique opportunity to experience an evening at Headlands through the lens of Artists. Gather in our historic, artist-renovated Mess Hall and share a seasonal, family-style meal prepared by Headlands’ Kitchen. Your seat at the table helps sustain our mission of supporting artists and creative exchange.
After supper, join us for studio visits with Project Space Artist Michelle Yi Martin and an artist talk with Present Company organizers Lindsey White (‘08, ‘13, ‘26) and Jon Rubin (‘24, ‘26). All three artists are in residence at Headlands this summer.
Michelle Yi Martin’s practice is rooted in the progressive traditions of the Bauhaus and Black Mountain College, where making and thinking are deeply connected. With a deep appreciation for materials and craft, she approaches weaving as both a material and conceptual practice. During her Project Space residency, Michelle is exploring weaving in conversation with the surrounding landscape and the ways the rhythms of the Headlands can shape her work and creative process.
This summer, Lindsey White and Jon Rubin are facilitating Present Company, a free eight-week experimental program at Headlands that centers how knowledge can be organically fostered by bringing together a diverse group of artists in both structured and unstructured ways.
