The Quieting World | Activation & Performances
Join us on March 23 from 3–6PM for performative activations of the The Quieting World. Presented in partnership with Pasaquan (Buena Vista, GA), this cross-disciplinary project weaves together sound art, poetry, vocal ensemble, and performance art to explore humanity’s primordial connection to dawn.
Performances by Pulitzer-prize winning poet Forrest Gander, Oakland-based women’s vocal ensemble Kitka, and Performance Artist Travis Dodd will take place from 3–6PM.
Following these free performances, guests are invited to join for a ticketed dinner in Headlands’ Mess Hall.
Event Schedule
3–6PM | Reading & Performances (Free)
6–9PM | Drinks & Dinner (Tickets required)
Headlands and Pasaquan have received generous support from the Ruth Foundation for the Arts.
