Headlands Center for the Arts

For Headlands’ Project Space, Montgomery’s work will feature surrealist collaged imagery, layered soundscapes, and poetic translations of the profound interconnectedness between the macro and the micro. She envisions the Project Space as an evolving, improvisational research environment where works-in-progress shift over time. Montgomery will create a dynamic setup that changes as her fieldwork and studio investigations unfold, using the space to test small experiments in image, sound, scale, and material. At Headlands, Montgomery invites viewers into her humble laboratory where cosmic and terrestrial research continually inform one another.

Project Space is on the third floor of Building 944 and is currently accessible only by stairs.
