Process becomes product in experimental choreographer Melinda Ring’s (AIR ‘12/NY) Mouse Auditions, a work based on Kafka’s The Metamorphosis in which auditions are the performance. Bear witness when an absurd, multi-layered drama develops as Bay Area performers try out for a variety of roles, including Gregor Samsa in his physically confused state, his sad musical sister, his volatile father, and his evil boss. Even Ring’s own role as director is up for grabs. Come any time during the performances and stay as long as you like.

This event takes place in Building 961, click here for a map of our campus.
