I am a visual communicator and educator cultivating a practice that attempts to find a balance between applied and speculative work. As an Indian-American, I am continuously investigating my own cultural-hybridity and the “in-between” spaces others occupy. I like to explore those spaces and utilize design as a way to create something unique within them.
While At Headlands
As Designer in Residence, I look forward to collaborating and learning from the community and environment of Headlands, and to experiment creatively alongside both. In conjunction with helping the organization establish their external communications for the year, I am eager to continue to investigate the “in-between” and find spaces at Headlands where I can tune into the quietness of the surroundings.
