Artist Statement

I’m a poet and a writer and an art journalist. I feel born to describe and that could mean a dream, a painting or an episodic account things happening that quicken and change pace and make the reader want to continue turning pages to see what is next.

While at Headlands

I’m working on a 1000 page novel called All My Loves. It explores love, friendship, animal relationships and landscape, all the imagined permutations of love in a very large scale cabinet way. It’s both autobiographical seeming and fantastic.
