A special event for Headlands donors at the Breakthrough level and above ($1,000+), we invite you to join us for an intimate evening of art and conversation at a collector’s private residence. Enjoy a tour of their international contemporary collection, as well as of their home which is a creative work of art and architecture in itself. Hear from Brooklyn-based filmmaker Terence Nance (AIR ’14) who is currently working on his feature documentary SO YOUNG, SO PRETTY, SO WHITE on perceptions of beauty, status, identity and skin color. We’ll also hear from Oakland-based artist Cate White, this year’s winner of Headlands prestigious Tournesol Award for leading-edge emerging Bay Area painters.
