Kim Turos (AIR ’01) is an artist and landscape architect known for her sculpture and site-specific installations. She has held solo exhibitions internationally at such institutions as the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, the San Francisco Arts Commission, and the Kunstlerwerkstatt Lothringerstrasse in Munich, Germany. She received a B.S. in landscape architecture from Texas A&M University in 1978, and has studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. In 2001 she held a Project Space residency at Headlands and earned a grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation that same year. She lives and works in Southern California.
