Iris Charabi-Berggren is an interdisciplinary artist working in a variety of media including: video, sound, photography, drawing and sculpture. Her interest in human psychology as it relates to social constructs and the environment is currently explored through a detailed inquiry into the practice of Bird Watching. Her recent work consists of black and white drawings and small paper sculptures. Charabi-Berggren’s work has been shown throughout the US, including screenings at the New Langton Arts in San Francisco and at the Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley, California. She holds an MFA from the California College of the Arts and a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
