Headlands is a one-of-a-kind gathering place for a wide range of celebrations and events. We offer space for classes, meetings, conferences, photo shoots, weddings, and other events to both individuals and organizations. Just fifteen minutes away from San Francisco, and convenient to North, East, and South Bay locations, Headlands’ spaces are ideal for groups looking to meet, brainstorm, discuss, celebrate, and think creatively in a serene setting. Housed within artist-renovated 1907 era army barracks, our campus is situated within the 2,100 windswept acres of hills, cliffs, coves, and beaches that make up the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Off the beaten path (and off the grid), Headlands’ rehabilitated and re-imagined historic military buildings have been the site of numerous events that combine great food, good company, and a spirit of community and collaboration. Opportunities to connect with artists from Headlands’ world-renowned programs through studio visits are available.
