Artist Statement

My practice is a spatial exploration of disembodied desire. It indulges affect through moving images and cinematic staging to articulate ulterior states of being.

While at Headlands

I will examine the role of light and distance in the perception of moving images. I plan to conduct visual experiments with deconstructed LED screens in the expansive interior and exterior spaces at Headlands. This project will further explore my interest in the edges of visual perception as latent political fields.
