Monthly Studio Visit—January
Each month, Headlands hosts visits with current Artists, which is your chance to get an inside glimpse of the new work being produced right here at Headlands.
Thursday, January 30 will be a special exhibition walkthrough of Tomorrow Is Already Here, an exhibition that draws from the practices of participants in Headlands’ 2016 and 2018 Thematic Residencies focusing on climate change, and includes new works, collaborations, commissions, and writing emerging from the research and encounters during the residencies,
The walkthrough will be led by curator and Headlands Program Manager Aay Preston-Myint, and will be followed by a studio visit with Fog Beast, a dance-based live arts organization Headlands commissioned to develop an on-site performance, These Lines Are Living, which will be presented in conjunction with the closing weekend of Tomorrow Is Already Here on March 7 and 8.
