Headlands Center for the Arts is 15 minutes north of San Francisco or south of Mill Valley.


From San Francisco: Hwy 101 North to the Alexander Avenue exit, turn right towards Sausalito, take the first left and proceed through the one-way tunnel. Follow Bunker Road for two miles. Fork left onto Field Road and take the first left onto Bodsworth Road. Turn left at Simmonds Road and follow the signs to Headlands Center for the Arts.

From The North: Hwy 101 South to the fourth Sausalito exit (just before the bridge). Turn right toward Sausalito at the stop sign. Take the first left turn and pass through the one-way tunnel, then follow directions as above.

Over The Hill: After exiting the highway as above, turn left off the exit, and take a right into the Marin Headlands on Conzelman Road. Follow the road for about two miles and turn right onto McCullough Road. At the bottom of the hill take a left onto Bunker Road, then follow directions as above.
