Every other year, Headlands partners with the San Francisco Art Institute to offer the Richard Diebenkorn Teaching Fellowship. The Fellowship generously provides the opportunity for artists to teach at SFAI while having the time and financial support to develop creative new work at Headlands through a fully-sponsored residency. Current Fellow, New York-based artist Brad Kahlhamer, will discuss his multi-media practice—which includes sculpture, painting, performance, and music—in conversation with Gary Garrels, Senior Curator of Painting and Sculpture at SFMOMA.

This offsite lecture is co-presented with San Francisco Art Institute as part of their Visiting Artists and Scholars Lecture Series, a free forum for direct engagement and dialogue with major figures in international contemporary art and culture. The lecture is in the San Francisco Art Institute Lecture Hall: 800 Chestnut Street, San Francisco.
