This Seattle based ceramics maker, Kristen Nelson, created the brand Kri Kri over twelve years ago.  Inspired by the ornate architecture of Montreal and in particular the wrought iron work on the old buildings, she painted the things that she made with black tracery.  Each of her pieces is notable for seemingly going through a process of twisting and contorting, as well as refinement, all applied to bowls mugs and vases.  Take this wonderful vase home to enjoy!
