Miguel Arzabe’s (Graduate Fellow ’11) practice encompasses multiple modes and media with a central concern around the trace or trail. His work was recently selected for Hors Pistes 2011 and 2012 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris; the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montréal, Canada; Summer Drift at RM Projects in Auckland New Zealand; and The More Things Change at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. His work is held in private and public collections, nationally and internationally. Arzabe holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, with an MS in Environmental Fluid Dynamics from Arizona State University and an MFA from University of California Berkeley. He is based in San Francisco.
