Kelly McLane’s paintings, drawings, and sculptures reference her California surroundings and travels, often pointing toward a notion of an ongoing recycling of history and the speculation of its origin or destination. She has had solo exhibitions at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Angles Gallery in Los Angeles, and CRG Gallery in New York, among others. Recent group exhibitions include Future Tense: Reshaping the Landscape at the Neuberger Museum of Art and Like Color in Pictures at the Aspen Art Museum. McLane earned her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and her MFA from the University of California, Davis. She lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
