Hayal Pozanti’s paintings, sculptures, collages, and digital animations evoke the idioms of painting, eschewing its formal constraints and presenting visual ciphers that foreground the possibilities of imaginative space. She has exhibited internationally, including New York, San Francisco, Istanbul and Berlin. Pozanti (b. 1983) is a native of Istanbul who received her MFA from Yale University in 2011. She currently lives and works in New York City.
