Auction Guidelines
Bidding
Each bidder will receive a numbered Auction catalog that will serve as his or her bidding paddle. All guests attending the Auction must pre-register with a credit card in order to obtain a bidder identification number. A bid number is required to participate in the Auction.
All items are subject to a minimum starting bid. Your bid, oral or written, constitutes a legal contract.
No artwork will be sold for less than the minimum bid amount outlined on the bid sheet or reserve price established by the artist.
Each item is auctioned as-is, without warranty.

Lots
The Silent Auction begins at 6:30 PM and closes in two lots after the close of the Live Auction.
Payment
To pay for and pickup your artwork, please see the cashier. Payment may be made using cash, check, MasterCard or Visa. Other credit cards will not be accepted. A 9.5% San Francisco sales tax will be applied to all purchases. A payment plan is available, please see the check-out table for more information. A "paid" receipt is required to remove any item from the premises. All sales are final.
All transactions must be completed at the conclusion of the Auction and works should be taken home that evening. Successful bidders should make arrangements for removal or shipment of their purchases the night of the Auction. If the work is too large to transport on Auction night, Headlands will assist with delivery arrangements. All arrangements and expenses for storage and/or delivery are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Items may be shipped via FedEx for a minimum charge of $50 or more depending on weight and size. Packing, handling, and shipping of purchased artworks are the entire risk of the buyer.
