Leading Bay Area artist William T. Wiley has been innovating in the areas of sculpture, painting and film/performance since the 1960s. He has influenced generations of artists as a teacher at University of California, Davis, San Francisco Art Institute, University of Nevada, Reno, Washington State College, Pullman, University of California, Berkeley, School of Visual Art, New York and University of Colorado, Boulder. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Life Work Award from Marin Arts Council, and dozens more. Wiley completed a BFA and an MFA from San Francisco Art Institute.
