Laurie Simmons has screened films at Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, Whitney Museum of American Art, UCLA Hammer Museum, Walker Art Center, Parrish Art Museum and Reine Sofia, Madrid. Her work can be found in internationally recognized museum collections including Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, DC, and Hara Museum, Tokyo. She graduated with a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia, PA, and has been the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Grant, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the Roy Lichtenstein Residency in Visual Arts at The American Academy in Rome.
