Leslie Shows' pigment, graphite and cutout collages investigate alternative ways to view people's relationships to land. She has recently exhibited at the Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach, CA, Armory Show, NY, Frieze Art Fair, London, and Art Basel Miami Beach. Solo exhibitions include Jack Hanley Gallery, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. A 2006 recipient of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art SECA Award, her work was featured at SFMOMA in early 2007. She received a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from California College of the Arts.
