Ryan Pierce’s ongoing concern is with the relationship of humankind to the network of natural systems that supports us. His work has been exhibited at Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Arts, Peekskill, NY, and Lisa Dent Gallery, San Francisco, and will be exhibited this year at CUE Art Foundation, New York, and Irvine Contemporary, Washington, DC. He is the recipient of a Cadogan Award from the San Francisco Foundation and a grant from the Joan Mitchell Foundation. Pierce received a BFA from Oregon College of Art and Craft and an MFA from California College of the Arts.
