Joe McKay is an artist who makes work with and about digital culture. He attended the Whitney Independent Study Program in 2001, where he had a two-person collaborative exhibition with Kristin Lucas, The Electric Donut. In 2004 Joe had his first solo show at VertexList in Williamsburg, New York. He has shown at the Berkshire Museum, National Gallery of Canada, San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, Pacific Film Archive, Berkeley, and New Museum, New York. He has a BA from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax, and an MFA from University of California, Berkeley.
