Daniel McCormick’s work focuses on the creation of restorative art using the watershed as a venue, through which he creates meaningful public art experiences in open spaces such as urban waterways, rural and agricultural lands and wilderness areas. He has installed large-scale sculptures in the Golden Gate National Recreations Area, Olema Creek, Marin Headlands, Glen Helen Nature Preserve, Yellow Springs, OH, and in the Lower Arroyo Seco, Pasadena, CA. He studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara, received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and continued his education at the Salmonid Restoration institute, University of California Field School.
