Minette Lee Mangahas is a self-taught painter who draws upon Japanese calligraphy and philosophy to create her fluid ink-on-paper works. She has recently exhibited at the APAture Festival, San Francisco, the Museo de Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo, Costa Rica, and the University of Richmond, VA. She and collaborator Ricardo Richey will debut their project CalliGRAFFiti at ProArts Gallery in Oakland this summer.
