Nathan Lynch creates objects that speak to the psychological and social constructions that we engage to assert our power, showing the thinly-veiled dark side of these traditions to expose their hypocrisy, humor and desperation. He has had recent solo exhibitions at Johansson Projects, Oakland, Sonoma Museum of Visual Art, Santa Rosa, Santa Ana College and Richmond Art Center. He is Chair of the Ceramics Department and Assistant Professor at California College of the Arts, and received an MFA from Mills College and a BFA from University of Southern California.
