Christine Lee received her MFA from San Diego State University and her BS from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She has had residencies at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center and the Stone Quarry Hill Park. This fall she will be a resident at San Francisco Recycling and Disposal. Crossing back and forth between sculpture, furniture /woodworking and installation, her work combines highly repetitive-driven processes with in-depth material investigation to explore and stretch the typical associations and final destinations of mundane materials. Her upcoming installations can be seen at the University of Arkansas- Little Rock and at the Aspen Art Museum. Currently she is a lecturer at the California College of the Arts and is an Affiliate Artist at Headlands Center for the Arts.
