Libby Black's work deals with issues of class and expectations of perfection. She has exhibited at Heather Marx Gallery (now Marx & Zavattero), Manolo Garcia Gallery, San Francisco Arts Commission Grove Street Windows and a.o.v. in San Francisco, and at Lamar Dodd School of Art, University of Georgia, Athens, and University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson. She received an MFA in Painting and Drawing from California College of Arts and Crafts and a BFA in Painting from Cleveland Institute of Art.
