Judith Barry is a pioneer of video, performance, and new media whose artwork has been shown internationally since the early 1980s. Her work has been included in Venice Biennale of Art and Architecture, the São Paulo Biennial, Whitney Biennial, Carnegie International, Sydney Biennial, Berlin Biennial and InSite among many other significant exhibitions. Her work is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art and Dia Art Foundation, New York, the Pompidou, Paris, the Generali Foundation, Vienna, Fondation la Caixa, Barcelona, and others. She studied at the University of California, Berkeley, and received a MFA from New York Institute of Technology.
