Katherine Aoki uses humor and color to question understandings of gender and femininity in unconventional methods. Aoki received her MFA in printmaking from Washington University in St Louis and exhibits nationally and internationally. Her work can be found in collections including SFMOMA, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Harvard University Art Museums, New York Public Library and the City of Seattle.
