Anthony Lepore is part of a small cadre of new artists experimenting with expanding the definition of photography. He is interested in exploring the relationship between nature and human invention and intervention. Lepore was awarded a 2005 Alice Kimball Travel Fellowship and an Award for Artistic Excellence by Fordham University in 2000. His works can be found in the permanent collections of Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Guggenheim, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Yale University Art Gallery. He received a BFA from Fordham University in 2000 and an MFA from the Yale University program in 2005. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
