3rd Sundays (12PM - 5PM)
Visit us every 3rd Sunday of the month starting August 15 for a series of artist-driven programs. Open Houses, workshops, panel discussions, performances and Project Space happenings are among the engaging 3rd Sunday programs that aim to connect our visitors to the creative process. The Mess Hall Café is open on all 3rd Sunday program days from 12PM - 4:30PM.

Artist Programs
Be our guest for presentations with current Artists in Residence and Affiliate Artists, as well as other members of the arts community. Artist Programs bring artists out of their studios and into conversation with others. This is your chance to connect in an informal, personal setting with the creative energy, spirit of exploration and the unique collaborations that are cultivated at Headlands. Please visit our Upcoming Programs page for more information about these programs and to RSVP.

Open House (Noon - 5PM)
Three times each year over 40 Headlands artists open their studios to the public to show their works in progress and talk with visitors about their creative process. Open House showcases artists working in a breadth of disciplines including visual arts, performing arts, film, video, literature and poetry. Open House is FREE to the public, and features performances and readings scheduled throughout the day. During Open House, Headlands' Mess Hall turns into a café from Noon - 4:30PM.

Coming Up:

Project Space
Project Space is a unique part of Headlands' Artist in Residence program, providing artists with a platform for developing new projects in an open to the public, 1800 square foot studio space in Headlands' main building. The program aims to provide audiences with access to artists and the creative experience, and to support artists making work that is socially engaged and solicits public interaction. The Project Space Studio is open to the public from Noon - 5PM, Tuesday - Friday and Sunday.

Currently in Project Space:
(June 15 - July 22) Brooke Singer
